Ultra Aluminum colors: the full card, and which lines carry which finish.

Ultra’s color program is bigger than the usual black-or-bronze choice — seven standard colors on the ornamental line, a premium Silver, textured-only cards on the privacy systems, wood-look variegated finishes on the new horizontal panels, and two-tone and full custom programs behind them. Here is the complete lineup from the March 2026 book, including the availability differences that catch orders.

Ultra horizontal privacy panels shown in textured khaki, variegated wood and textured black finishes

Standard colors — ornamental aluminum fence

Residential, commercial, industrial, and Defender grades all share the same seven standard colors, at no upcharge:

ColorGlossTextured
BlackYes — Gloss BlackYes — Textured Black
WhiteYes — Gloss WhiteYes — Textured White
BronzeYes — Gloss BronzeYes — Textured Bronze
KhakiNo — textured onlyYes — Textured Khaki

That Khaki asterisk is the one that catches estimators: Black, White, and Bronze come both ways; Khaki is Textured only. Gloss is the classic wet-look finish; Textured carries a low-sheen, slightly pebbled surface.

Premium color: Silver

Silver is Ultra’s premium color across every line — ornamental and privacy. It carries an extra charge and additional lead time, quoted per order. If the drawing calls for silver or gray, flag it early so the schedule holds.

Privacy lines — textured only

The Ultra Privacy systems (aluminum privacy, vinyl-rail privacy, and louvered privacy) run a four-color textured card plus premium Silver. Ultra’s order codes, which you’ll see on model numbers and confirmations:

ColorCode
Textured BlackTB
Textured BronzeTZ
Textured KhakiTK
Textured WhiteTW
Silver (premium, upcharge)SI

No gloss finishes on privacy product — if the customer wants gloss black, it has to be the ornamental picket line.

Horizontal privacy panels — the wood-look finishes

Ultra’s new Horizontal Privacy Panels carry the four textured standards plus three variegated wood finishes: Aged Dark Oak, Teak, and Colony Maple. One availability note from the spec sheet: posts are not available in the variegated colors — frame the wood-look infill with a textured-color post. The horizontal line is call-for-pricing; ask us to quote it.

Two-tone and custom colors

  • Two-tone: alternating colors between framework and infill panels, available at an extra charge — quoted per order.
  • Custom colors: $759 setup charge, plus Powercoat quoted per pound with a 50-pound minimum and extended lead times. Practical for large commercial and municipal packages that must match a campus standard.

Finish durability and ordering notes

Every color rides on Ultra’s Powercoat finish, warranted for life against cracking, peeling, or chipping (10 years on commercial applications), with Intertek-certified checks on gloss, color value, adhesion, and coating thickness. Touch-up paint is stocked in 12-oz spray cans at $34.00 book, and color-matched stainless screws are in the accessories book.

Two ordering cautions. First, returns: white, beige, green, or khaki panels are non-returnable under Ultra’s policy (as are all gates), so confirm color with the owner before the PO. Second, matching an earlier install: Ultra’s order form has an add-on field tying the new order to the previous invoice — give us the old invoice number and the factory matches the run.

Color is the last box on the order form — grade and layout come first. Start with the grades guide and the posts & gates guide, or send the whole job to our account desk and price it at book — account holders deduct 10%.
